Sia's Story
Sia was born into the Hatcher family (Australia), part of the Alcuin family breeding project that works with a clear purpose : “ Cobbers for Life ” — selecting and breeding dogs focused on temperament and their capacity for therapy and family life .
Thanks to the trust of Tristan and Susie de Alcuin, Sia joined our program at Althea Crownwood. From the first contact, we felt the same ethical approach : intense socialization from puppyhood (with children, farm animals, and urban noise), selection based on temperament rather than color, and family care .
That background explains why Sia is exactly what we were looking for: a dog who embodies the mission of breeding balanced, life-ready Cobberdogs.

At home, Sia is pure tenderness : she likes to lie next to you, follows you into the kitchen or bathroom, and her presence calms the atmosphere . She's the companion who wants to be close to the family, discreet and loyal .
On the street, Sia transforms into a sociable fairy : she gently approaches people and other dogs to greet them, waits for a pet, and happily returns to your side. Her long legs make her slender, her gaze invites you to get to know her better, and her pink nose gives her a unique facial harmony: people stop to look at her and ask about her.
She is intelligent and sensitive : sudden noises disconcert her for a second, but with a smile and peace of mind she relaxes again and rests her head on the ground to calmly observe you .
She loves soft sand—if you need a hole, Sia will gladly dig one for you—but always maintaining that balance that makes her so special .
